We are committed to protecting the privacy of our supporters, volunteers, donors, and all visitors to our website. 1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you sign up to receive email or SMS updates, request information, fill out a form, sign a petition, sign up as a volunteer, sign up for an event, make a donation or purchase, send us an email, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include:

• Newsletter sign-ups: Email address.
• Volunteer contact form: Name, email address, phone number, and areas of interest.
• Contact messages: Any information you include when emailing us at info@ojedafornc.com.
• Donations: Donations are processed by ActBlue, a third-party platform. We receive donor name, address, occupation, employer, email, and contribution amount as required by the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Payment card details are handled exclusively by ActBlue and are never stored on our servers.
• Merchandise purchases: Orders placed through our merchandise store at store.ojedafornc.com are processed by a third-party e-commerce platform, which collects shipping and payment information on our behalf.

In addition, we may be required to collect certain personal information from donors. For example, the disclosure of name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of all individuals whose donations to the Campaign exceed $200 per election cycle may be required.

• Log and usage information: We collect information related to your access to and use of the Site, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our Site.
• Device information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Site, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Transactional information: If you make a donation or purchase, we may collect information about the transaction, such as donation amount, purchase price, product details, and date and location of the transaction.

• Comply with our legal and financial obligations, including contacting you if federal election laws require us to request additional information from you;
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Site, and personalize the Site and provide advertisements, content, or features based on your preferences, interests, and online activities;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of the Campaign and others; and

3. FEC Disclosure Requirements

As a federal campaign committee, Ojeda for NC is required by the Federal Election Commission to collect and publicly report certain donor information, including name, mailing address, occupation, and employer for contributions over $200 in an election cycle. This information is part of the public record and is available through the FEC’s website at fec.gov. This disclosure is required by law and is not optional.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their commercial purposes. We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

• With vendors, service providers, volunteers, and consultants who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (such as ActBlue, email platforms, analytics providers, and website hosting);
• To report required donation information in public disclosures, including name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employers of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle;
• In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements;
• When we believe in good faith that we are lawfully authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes or respond to lawful requests, claims, or legal authorities, including responding to lawful subpoenas, warrants, or court orders;
• If we believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of the Campaign, its employees, volunteers, constituents, or others;
• In connection with, or during negotiations of, any reorganization, formation of a new committee or successor organization, asset sale or transfer, or any other situation where personal information may be disclosed or transferred as one of the assets of the Campaign;
• We may share supporter contact information with authorized campaign staff, volunteers, and coordinated party committees for legitimate campaign communications, in compliance with applicable law;
• With your consent or at your direction.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used by those third parties to identify you.

5. Text Messaging & Communications

By submitting your phone number through our volunteer form or other sign-up methods, you consent to receive campaign-related text messages and/or phone calls from Ojeda for NC. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message or by contacting us at info@ojedafornc.com.

We will not share or sell your text messaging opt-in data, consent, or related personal information with any third parties, except as required by law.

6. Email Communications

By subscribing to our email list, you agree to receive periodic campaign updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out by contacting team@ojedafornc.com. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing interactions with you. We will honor all opt-out requests promptly.

15. Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
